Getting to Winter Count
Plan to get yourself about 30 minutes east of Florence, AZ.
Once you are registered, you will receive information on how to arrive and other information regarding when the gate will be open and when onsite registration will take place.
We now have very set Onsite Check-in times and once Check-in is closed, you will not be able to enter camp.
Onsite Checkin Schedule: Saturday- 10am-6pm, Sunday: 9am-6pm, Monday-Friday 7:30am-6pm.
Distance from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport (PHX) to the site is 1hr 20min.
Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport (PHX) to the site is 1hr 20min.
Tucson Airport (TUS) to the site is 1hr. 45min.
Options for getting to camp from the Sky Harbor Airport (PHX) in Phoenix. (1hr 20min):
- Put a listing on the Rideshare page of our website.
- Take a shuttle: Call Stagecoach Express: (480) 982-2555. They will bring you to camp for $55 for the first person and $7 for each additional person.
- Rent a car and add your arrival time to the Rideshare page on the website.
Arriving at the site- Registration will be open at specific times and the gate will be closed after-hours, so plan to arrive during times when the gate is open, otherwise you won’t be able to enter. The schedule is as follows:

If you plan on flying in, use the ride share to let people know you will need a ride to camp.
Getting to Sky Earth
Due to unforseen circumstances regarding rain and mud, we will be moving the SkyEarth gathering site to Nemo, TX, about 40 minutes west of the Venus site.
