Plan to get yourself about 30 minutes east of Florence, Arizona.
 

Once you're registered, you'll receive an information packet that includes directions for how to get to Winter Count, and details about when the gate will be open and when onsite check-in takes place.

Arriving at the site 

Check-in will take place, and the gate will be open, only at specific times. The gate will be closed after-hours, so plan to arrive during times when the gate is open, otherwise you won’t be able to enter.

Saturday, 10 am-6 pm

Sunday, 9 am-6 pm

Monday-Friday, 7:30 am-5:30 pm

Options for getting to Winter Count from the Sky Harbor Airport (PHX) in Phoenix:

• Put a listing on the Ride Share page of our website.

• Take a shuttle: Call Stagecoach Express: (480) 982-2555. They will bring you to camp for $91 for the first person and $8 for each additional person. (Their phone lines can get very busy, so if you don't get through, try again.) 

• Rent a car and add your arrival time to the Ride Share page on the website.
